The Challenge

Smartwool wanted to improve performance indicators by reducing the reliance on coupon sites, which accounted for 50% of their affiliate revenue and 60% of their affiliate traffic.

Our Solution

Through strategic commission changes, reallocation of funds toward content sites, and utilizing our relationships with publishers to increase Smartwool features, Blue Moon Digital was able to completely transform the Smartwool program in just a few months.

In the first year of managing Smartwool’s program, we increased the traffic from content sites from less than 15% of the program to more than 30%, driving valuable brand exposure in relevant publications such as outdoor sites, news outlets, and influencer blogs. The impact did not end there because revenue from these publishers grew from less than 5% of the program to nearly 20%.
